The V2108s are a delight. They are utterly clear and balanced: crisp all the way down into the low frequencies that other monitors would mush into big lumpy gobs low end. On the high end they are transparent and tight — somehow clear and exact without ever being harsh or grating. I can work on them for hours on end without fatigue. And crucially, they are just honest. They don’t add false richness or trick you into thinking that crappy things sound good. When you get a mix right on them, it sounds right everywhere.

I’ve been using Quested speakers from the very beginning of my career. I’ve heard them for the first time at my friends studio. He had the HM412’s and that was the breaking point for me. I want to buy my own system right away. I was so convinced by the sound that I actually sold my car to order my VS3208’s with two VS1115 subs. That was many years ago and I’ve used this speakers ever since. They are one of the most accurate studio speakers around and very pleasing to listen to. In 15 years of career I never came across anything like it. The V2108 achieve something I didn't even think could be possible. They feel full, warm, open, with detailed reverb tails while being gentle on the ears for long listening sessions. It is not a hyped sound by any means and doesn't have the crispiness that seems to be the trend in a lot of monitor brands, yet at the same time not a single detail escapes them. They are almost holographic, like the performers are right in front of you. Nothing short of a spiritual experience!

Here at La Fabrique we tested and bought a pair of V3110 that sounds amazing. Used as near/midfield monitor - behind our 88R Neve’s bridge - it’s very impressive. Very powerful and still very clear, extensive low end and low mid with a very beautiful and detailed soft mid. Stereo is just perfect with the excellent amps that drive the speakers. The perfect size of monitoring that can be used all the time swapping sometimes on the small nearfield or main monitors. It’s QUESTED… We love it!

For nearly 20 years, I have had the honor and privilege of creating with Quested speakers. I purchased my first pair of VS2108’s in 2003 for my Los Angeles studio and have never looked back. The speakers were soon joined by a pair of X12 low frequency extenders, which took things to another level. They are very pleasing to work with and impeccably accurate - imperative qualities for a speaker, given the marathon hours we demand of them. For my UK studio, I chose to go with the V3110’s, which offer a sublime clarity and detail across the entire mid-range, whilst also providing a formidable low end. Bravo, Quested!

I’ve been using Quested monitors since 2001 and they sound amazing – I have a pair of H208s with a custom H208 centre (which still sound as good as the day I bought them 20 years ago), and recently upgraded my original H108s to the V2108s which I’m absolutely blown away by. I work in the studio average 12 hours a day and just don’t get ear fatigue over long periods of time which is very important to me – they’re totally accurate and just a joy to work with.

After years of searching for the right studio monitors, I finally had the opportunity to listen to the Quested V3110. I knew from the first moment I heard the V3110 that this was the monitor I had been searching for. The experience of mixing on a truly full range monitor is like nothing else. For years I had been mixing for the monitor, meaning I was altering the balance of my mix and tailoring the equalization and compression based on my knowledge of how the monitors I was working on would translate to other playback systems. In doing so I sometimes felt as though I was working against my own instinct. With the Questeds, I am able to respond instinctually, knowing that everything I do will translate. The speakers disappear entirely. I am able to dial in the full frequency spectrum effortlessly. The low end is tight and full, the midrange is superb, and the top end is accurate and not at all fatiguing. Above all, simply listening to music on the V3110 is an experience unlike any other.

They are my favourite piece of gear. I work with mixes delivered from across the world, through hundreds of different studios and there's never been any repeatable concerns about the masters that leave here. They are such an honest view into the mix and I can't ever envisage a time where Quested's won't be driving the front end of Blacklisted. If I ever do upgrade, I will be straight on the phone to Quested, that much I can say for sure!
